We are so excited to announce opening night of the 2026 spring musical at EJHS - The Hello Girls.
This new American musical was written in 2018 by Peter Mills and Cara Reichel and is based on the true story of how the first women joined the US Army during World War I - (1918) - before women had even won the official right to vote. The show features patriotic, memorable songs and a look into a part of history that is so interesting.
This story of perseverance and friendship reminds us that dedication can make the difference between mediocrity and greatness in our own lives. It also tells the age old story of how our own determination can impact the lives of our friends, our family, our community, and even the world!
With a cast of (mostly) historical and (a few) fictional characters in the retelling of actual events - you will experience an immersive journey of adventure, emotion, and a splash of humor as we tell the story of recruitment of the Ladies Switchboard Unit of WWI, dubbed “The Hello Girls”.
Veterans will receive a free ticket at the door on opening night. Online, they may use the code AMERA250 to purchase BOGO tickets at:
